काठमाडौं, वैशाख २३ – सन् २००८ मा मुम्बईमा भएको बम हमलाका दोषि ठहर गरिएका मोहम्बद अजमल कसाबलाई त्यहाँको एक विशेष अदालतले बिहीबार मृत्युदण्डको सजाय सुनाएको छ । अजमल कसाबलाई चार अभियोगमा नोभेम्बर २६ तारिखमा फाँसी दिइने गरी मृत्युदण्ड सुनाइएको मुम्बई प्रहरीका संयुक्त आयुक्त हिमांशु रायले अदालतबाहिर जानकारी दिए । उनलाई हत्या, भारतविरोधी आपराधिक कार्य गरेकोलगायत अभियोगमा मृत्युदण्ड सुनाइएको हो । २६ नोभेम्बर २००८ को राति मुम्बईको दुई होटल तथा शिवाजी रेलवे स्टेशन तथा अन्य स्थानमा आक्रमण गर्दा १ सय ७० जनाको ज्यान गएको थियो भने ३ सय भन्दा बढि घाइते भएका थिए ।
